Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 35 items organized into 2 factors/subscales: Discomfort Scale, Frequency Scale.
| Factor / Subscale | Items | N |

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: Part 1 (Discomfort): 1 = None, Part 1 (Discomfort): 2 = A little, Part 1 (Discomfort): 3 = A fair amount, Part 1 (Discomfort): 4 = Much, Part 1 (Discomfort): 5 = Very much, Part 2 (Frequency): 1 = Never, Part 2 (Frequency): 2 = Seldom, Part 2 (Frequency): 3 = Sometimes, Part 2 (Frequency): 4 = Often, Part 2 (Frequency): 5 = Always.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of High internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha typically > 0.90 for both scales).
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
