Scale Overview
The Injury Rehabilitation Social Environment Preferences Questionnaire – IRSEPQ was developed by Molly Driediger & Craig Hall (2012). It is designed to measure Social environment preferences in injury rehabilitation. The scale is intended for use with Injured individuals undergoing rehabilitation.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 14 items organized into 6 factors/subscales: Patient Gender/Sex, Patient Appearance, Patient Social Interaction, Impression Motivation, Clinic Attire, Physiotherapist Gender/Sex.

Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Not Preferred, 2 = Slightly Preferred, 3 = Moderately Preferred, 4 = Strongly Preferred, 5 = Completely Prefer.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 14 to 70. Interpretation guidelines:
- Total Preference Score Range: 14 – 70

Administration
