The Healthy Families Parenting Inventory – HFPI was developed by Craig Winston LeCroy, Judy Krysik (2012). It is designed to measure Parenting and family functioning. The scale is intended for use with Parents.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 63 items organized into 9 factors/subscales: Social Support, Problem Solving, Depression, Personal Care, Mobilizing Resources, Role Satisfaction, Parent/Child Interaction, Home Environment, Parenting Efficacy.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Rarely or Never, 2 = A little of the time, 3 = Some of the time, 4 = Good part of the time, 5 = Always or most of the time.
The scale includes 15 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.

Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
