Total scores range from 10 to 40. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low health protective communication: 10 – 20
- Moderate health protective communication: 21 – 30
- High health protective communication: 31 – 40

Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of 0.85.
Administration
