Scale Overview
The General Scale of Parental Self-Efficacy Beliefs – GSPSEB was developed by J. C. Meunier & I. Roskam (2009). It is designed to measure Parental Self-Efficacy. The scale is intended for use with Parents of young children.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree).
The scale includes 14 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 37 to 185. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Parental Self-Efficacy: 37 – 86
- Moderate Parental Self-Efficacy: 87 – 135
- High Parental Self-Efficacy: 136 – 185
