The Gender Role Conflict Scale – GRCS was developed by James M. O’Neil, Bruce J. Helms, Robert K. Gable, Larry David, Lawrence S. Wrightsman (1986). It is designed to measure Gender Role Conflict. The scale is intended for use with Men.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 37 items organized into 4 factors/subscales: Success, Power, and Competition (SPC), Restrictive Emotionality (RE), Restrictive Affectionate Behavior Between Men (RABBM), Conflict Between Work and Family Relations (CBWF).
