Scale Overview
The Feedback Assessment Questionnaire – FAQ was developed by Andrea Allen (2001). It is designed to measure Reaction to assessment feedback. The scale is intended for use with Adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 7 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Strongly disagree, 2 = Disagree, 3 = Neutral, 4 = Agree, 5 = Strongly agree.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
Total scores range from 7 to 35. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low satisfaction / Negative feedback experience: 7 – 17
- Moderate satisfaction / Neutral feedback experience: 18 – 28
- High satisfaction / Positive feedback experience: 29 – 35
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
