The Favorable Attitudes Toward Antisocial Behavior Scale is a standardized psychological assessment instrument. It is designed to measure Antisocial Attitudes. The scale is intended for use with Adolescents and school-aged youth.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 5 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Very wrong, 2 = Wrong, 3 = A little bit wrong, 4 = Not wrong at all.
Scoring
Item scores are averaged to produce a mean score.
Total scores range from 1 to 4. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low favorability toward antisocial behavior (High disapproval): 1 – 2
- Moderate favorability toward antisocial behavior: 2 – 3
- High favorability toward antisocial behavior (Low disapproval): 3 – 4
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 2 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
