Scale Overview
The Episode-Specific Conflict Tactics Scale – ESCT was developed by Tammy Lowery Zacchilli (adapted from Canary, Cunningham, & Cody, 1988) (2007). It is designed to measure Conflict Tactics. The scale is intended for use with Couples / Dating partners.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 36 items organized into 3 factors/subscales: Integrative tactics, Distributive tactics, Avoidance tactics.
