Scale Overview
The E-Learning Technology Incentive Factors and Behavioral Intentions Toward Computer-Based and Game-Based Assessment Model Inventory was developed by Jian-Wei Lin, Chia-Wen Tsai, Chu-Ching Hsu (2023). It is designed to measure Technology Acceptance and Behavioral Intention in E-Learning. The scale is intended for use with University students.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 15 items organized into 5 factors/subscales: Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Perceived Playfulness, Behavioral Intention.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree).
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 15 to 75. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Acceptance / Intention: 15 – 35
- Moderate Acceptance / Intention: 36 – 55
- High Acceptance / Intention: 56 – 75
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of 0.76.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
