Scale Overview
The Disciplinary and Delinquent Behavior – SAGE Baseline Survey was developed by Robert L. Flewelling, Mallie J. Paschall, Christopher L. Ringwalt (1993). It is designed to measure Disciplinary and delinquent behavior. The scale is intended for use with Adolescents (aged 12-17).

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Within the past month, 2 = Between 1 and 6 months ago, 3 = Between 6 months and 1 year ago, 4 = Over 1 year ago, 5 = Never.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
Total scores range from 0 to 9. Interpretation guidelines:
- No past-year delinquent or disciplinary behavior: 0 – 0
- Presence of past-year delinquent or disciplinary behavior: 1 – 9
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
