Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: Scale A: 1 = Not at all, Scale A: 2 = Slightly, Scale A: 3 = Somewhat, Scale A: 4 = Moderately, Scale A: 5 = Exactly, Scale B: 1 = Strongly disagree, Scale B: 2 = Disagree, Scale B: 3 = Not sure, Scale B: 4 = Agree, Scale B: 5 = Strongly agree, Scale C: 1 = Never, Scale C: 2 = A few times a year, Scale C: 3 = Monthly, Scale C: 4 = A few times a month, Scale C: 5 = Weekly, Scale C: 6 = A few times a week, Scale C: 7 = Daily.
The scale includes 4 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 1 to 5. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low involvement/agreement: 1 – 2
- Moderate involvement/agreement: 3 – 3
- High involvement/agreement: 4 – 5
Psychometric Properties
