Scale Overview
The Delinquent Behavior – High Risk Behavioral Assessment was developed by Dolan, S. & Church, B. (1989). It is designed to measure Delinquent behavior. The scale is intended for use with Youth / Adolescents.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 4 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a dichotomous Yes/No format.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
Total scores range from 0 to 4. Interpretation guidelines:
- No reported delinquent behavior or exposure: 0 – 0
- Low to moderate delinquent behavior or exposure: 1 – 2
- High delinquent behavior or exposure: 3 – 4

Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
