Scale Overview
The Cyberbullying Coping Questionnaire (CCQ) was developed by Niels C.L. Jacobs, Trijntje Völlink, Francine Dehue, Lilian Lechner (2015). It is designed to measure Cyberbullying coping strategies. The scale is intended for use with Adolescents and young adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 35 items organized into 4 factors/subscales: Mental Coping, Passive Coping, Social Coping, Confrontational Coping.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Never, 2 = Sometimes, 3 = Regularly, 4 = Often, 5 = Almost always.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Mental coping (a=.70), Passive coping (a=.73), Social coping (a=.73), Confrontational coping (a=.68).
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
