Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Always / To a very large extent / Very satisfied / Definitely true / All the time, 2 = Often / To a large extent / Satisfied / Mostly true / Most of the time, 3 = Sometimes / Somewhat / Neither/nor / Don't know / Some of the time, 4 = Seldom / To a small extent / Unsatisfied / Mostly false / A little of the time, 5 = Never / To a very small extent / Very unsatisfied / Definitely false / None of the time.
The scale includes 19 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 0 to 100. Interpretation guidelines:
- Standardized scale score (0-100 scale, where higher scores indicate higher levels of the measured construct): 0 – 100
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Varies by subscale (typically Cronbach's alpha 0.70 – 0.90).
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
