The Chinese Values Survey (CVS) was developed by Chinese Culture Connection (Michael H. Bond) (1987). It is designed to measure Work-related cultural values. The scale is intended for use with Adults and working professionals.

This instrument consists of 40 items organized into 5 factors/subscales: Integration, Confucian Work Dynamism, Human-Heartedness, Moral Discipline, Unclassified.

Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = No importance, 2 = 2, 3 = 3, 4 = 4, 5 = Medium importance, 6 = 6, 7 = 7, 8 = 8, 9 = Extreme importance.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 1 to 9. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Importance: 1 – 3
- Moderate Importance: 4 – 6
- High Importance: 7 – 9

Administration
