The Checklist Individual Strength – CIS-20R was developed by Beurskens, A. J., Bültmann, U., Kant, I., Vercoulen, J. H., Bleijenberg, G., Swaen, G. M. H. (2000). It is designed to measure Fatigue. The scale is intended for use with Adults, working population.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 20 items organized into 4 factors/subscales: Subjective Fatigue, Concentration, Motivation, Physical Activity.

Response anchors: 1 = Yes, that is true, 2 = 2, 3 = 3, 4 = 4, 5 = 5, 6 = 6, 7 = No, that is not true.
The scale includes 11 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 20 to 140. Interpretation guidelines:
- Normal to Mild Fatigue: 20 – 75
- Severe Fatigue: 76 – 140

Administration
