Scale Overview
The Change Response Circumplex Scale – CRCS was developed by Shaul Oreg, Noga Sverdlik, Jill W. Paine, Myeong-Gu Seo (2023). It is designed to measure Responses to organizational change. The scale is intended for use with Adults (employees experiencing organizational change).
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 12 items organized into 4 factors/subscales: Change Acceptance, Change Proactivity, Change Disengagement, Change Resistance.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree).
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 3 to 15. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low: 3 – 6
- Moderate: 7 – 11
- High: 12 – 15
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Cronbach's alphas ranged from .58 to .90.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
