Scale Overview
The Attitudes Towards Intellectual Disability Scale – EADI was developed by Alicia Boluarte Carbajal, Martin Salazar-Conde, Arantxa N. Sánchez Boluarte, Danilo Sánchez Coronel, Brian Norman Peña-Calero (2023). It is designed to measure Attitudes Towards Intellectual Disability. The scale is intended for use with Laborers / Adults.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 5-point agreement scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree).

Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Perception: alpha = 0.86, omega = 0.93; Social Distance: alpha = 0.83, omega = 0.92.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
