Scale Overview
The Athletic Injury Imagery Questionnaire-2 (AIIQ-2) was developed by Sordoni, C., Hall, C., & Forwell, L. (2000). It is designed to measure Athletic injury rehabilitation imagery. The scale is intended for use with Injured athletes.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Never, 2 = Very Rarely, 3 = Rarely, 4 = Sometimes, 5 = Often, 6 = Very Often, 7 = Frequent.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 11 to 77. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low imagery use: 11 – 33
- Moderate imagery use: 34 – 55
- High imagery use: 56 – 77

Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
