Response anchors: 1 = Never, 2 = Rarely, 3 = Sometimes, 4 = Often, 5 = Always.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Instrumental Aggression (α = 0.78), Reactive Aggression (α = 0.73), Proactive Aggression (α = 0.81), Interpersonal Aggression (α = 0.89), Total ADSQ (α = 0.91).
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
