Scale Overview
The Affirmative Counseling Behaviors with GLB Clients – ACBGLBC was developed by Kathleen J. Bieschke & Connie R. Matthews (2003). It is designed to measure Affirmative counseling behaviors with LGB clients. The scale is intended for use with Counselors and therapists.

Scoring
Item scores are averaged to produce a mean score.
Total scores range from 1 to 7. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Affirmative Behaviors: 1 – 3
- Moderate Affirmative Behaviors: 3 – 5
- High Affirmative Behaviors: 5 – 7
