CANNABIS DEPENDENCE

n. in DSM-IV-TR, refers to a set of cognitive, physiological, and behavioral symptoms which outwardly indicate continued use of cannabis. Occurring in clusters, this behavioral pattern leads from tolerance to withdrawal once the use is stopped. The urge becomes uncontrollable and there is motor agitation. See cannabis abuse.
