By forcing development teams to simulate realistic conditions of use, SBD acts as a potent preventative measure. 5. Debates and Criticisms

Despite its widespread adoption and proven utility, Scenario-Based Design is not without its operational challenges and theoretical criticisms. A primary concern revolves around the issue of completeness and coverage. The effectiveness of SBD is entirely dependent on the quality and breadth of the scenarios generated. Critics argue that it is practically impossible to create a set of scenarios comprehensive enough to represent the infinite variability of real-world user behavior and environmental conditions.
