VAGUS NERVE

the tenth cranial nerve, a combined nerve with both motor and sensory fibers which serves a multitude of operations. The sensory fibers innervate the vocal organs, external ear, and abdominal and thoracic viscera. The motor nerves innervate the vocal organs, tongue, and the abdominal and thoracic viscera.

VAGUS NERVE: “The vagus nerve is also known as the cranial nerve.”
