The Comprehensive Misconduct Inventory – CMI-58 was developed by Paulhus, D. L. (2001). It is designed to measure Misconduct and Antisocial Behavior. The scale is intended for use with Adolescents and Adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 58 items organized into 7 factors/subscales: Soft Drug Abuse, Hard Drug Abuse, Minor Criminality, Serious Criminality, Driving Misbehavior, Bullying/Harassing, Anti-Authority Misbehavior.

Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 0 = Never, 1 = Once or twice, 2 = 3-5 times, 3 = 6-10 times, 4 = More than 10 times.

Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
