The Indiscriminate Proreligiousness Scale – IPRO was developed by Kenneth I. Pargament, Michael T. Brannick, Harold Adamakos, David S. Ensing, Mark L. Kelemen, Richard K. Warren, Karen Falgout, Patricia Cook, & Janet Myers (1987). It is designed to measure Indiscriminate Proreligiousness. The scale is intended for use with Adults and college students.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 28 items organized into 2 factors/subscales: Congregational Proreligiousness (PRO-C), Personal Proreligiousness (PRO-P).

Total scores range from 0 to 28. Interpretation guidelines:
- More Discriminating Religious Orientation: 0 – 14
- Indiscriminately Proreligious Orientation: 15 – 28

Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Cronbach's alpha: .78 (PRO-C) and .75 (PRO-P) in church sample; .82 (PRO-C) and .59 (PRO-P) in student sample.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
