The Spiritual Assessment Inventory – SAI was developed by Todd W. Hall & Gary J. Edwards (1996). It is designed to measure Spiritual maturity and relationship with God. The scale is intended for use with Adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 42 items organized into 5 factors/subscales: Awareness, Instability, Defensiveness/Disappointment, Realistic Acceptance, Grandiosity.

Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Instability: .88, Defensiveness: .91, Awareness: .90, Realistic Acceptance: .76, Grandiosity: .52.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
