Total scores range from 13 to 91. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low extra-role behavior engagement: 13 – 39
- Moderate extra-role behavior engagement: 40 – 65
- High extra-role behavior engagement: 66 – 91
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Helping alpha: .85-.95, Voice alpha: .82-.96.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
