Scale Overview
The Subjective Satisfaction and Stress of Work and Occupation Scale was developed by Weyer, Hodapp, & Neuhäuser (1980). It is designed to measure Job satisfaction, working atmosphere, and occupational stress. The scale is intended for use with Employed adults.

This instrument consists of 30 items organized into 3 factors/subscales: Job and Occupational Satisfaction, Positive Working Atmosphere, Job and Occupational Stress.

Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Cronbach's alpha = .93 – .94.
