Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 20 items organized into 3 factors/subscales: Relationship of training to job, Skill performance, General training impact.
| Factor / Subscale | Items | N |
|---|---|---|
| Relationship of training to job | 1,2,3,4,10,14,20 | 7 |
| Skill performance | 5,6,7,8,9,11,12,13,16,19 | 10 |

Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Strongly Disagree, 2 = Disagree, 3 = Sometimes Agree and Sometimes Disagree, 4 = Agree, 5 = Strongly Agree.
The scale includes 13 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring

Total scores range from 20 to 100. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low training impact: 20 – 46
- Moderate training impact: 47 – 73
- High training impact: 74 – 100
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Alpha coefficient of 0.88.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
