The Management Inventory on Modern Management (MIMM) was developed by Donald L. Kirkpatrick (1989). It is designed to measure Modern management principles and philosophy. The scale is intended for use with Managers and supervisors.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 80 items organized into 8 factors/subscales: Leadership Styles, Selecting and Training, Communicating, Motivating, Managing Change, Delegating, Decision Making, Managing Time.

Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 0 to 80. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low alignment with modern management principles: 0 – 40
- Moderate alignment with modern management principles: 41 – 60
- High alignment with modern management principles: 61 – 80
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 25 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
