Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 11 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Not at all, 2 = Slightly, 3 = Moderately, 4 = Very much, 5 = Much/Extremely.
Scoring
Item scores are averaged to produce a mean score.
Total scores range from 1 to 5. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Anxiety: 1 – 2
- Moderate Anxiety: 2 – 4
- High Anxiety: 4 – 5

Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Cronbach's alpha of .95 – .97.
