Scale Overview
The Reiss Premarital Sexual Permissiveness Scale – Reiss PSP (Male Form) was developed by Ira L. Reiss (1964). It is designed to measure Premarital Sexual Permissiveness. The scale is intended for use with Adults.

Total scores range from 0 to 12. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Permissiveness: 0 – 4
- Moderate Permissiveness: 5 – 8
- High Permissiveness: 9 – 12

Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of 0.90.
Administration
