Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 4 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 7-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 7 = Strongly Agree).
Scoring
Item scores are averaged to produce a mean score.
Total scores range from 4 to 28. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low appreciation of remaining time: 4 – 12
- Moderate appreciation of remaining time: 13 – 20
- High appreciation of remaining time: 21 – 28
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Test-retest ICC of .78.
