Scale Overview
The Basic Life Support and Resuscitation-Related Knowledge, Situation, and Attitudes Questionnaire was developed by Edina Gradvohl, Ágnes J. Lukács, Johanna Takács, Gábor Fritúz, András Falus, Helga Judit Feith (2023). It is designed to measure Basic Life Support Knowledge and Attitudes. The scale is intended for use with Adolescents and school students.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Strongly Disagree / Incorrect, 2 = Disagree, 3 = Neutral, 4 = Agree, 5 = Strongly Agree / Correct.
The scale includes 2 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 0 to 16. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Knowledge/Attitude: 0 – 8
- Moderate Knowledge/Attitude: 9 – 16

Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Test-retest correlation r > 0.4 for validated items.
Administration
