The Unwanted Pursuit Behavior Inventory – Offender (UPBI-O) was developed by Langhinrichsen-Rohling J., Palarea R. E., Cohen J., Rohling M. L. (2000). It is designed to measure Unwanted pursuit behavior and stalking perpetration. The scale is intended for use with Adults post-relationship dissolution.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 26 items organized into 2 factors/subscales: Mild Acts, Severe Acts.

Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 0 to 26. Interpretation guidelines:
- Total score is computed by summing the endorsed items (Yes = 1, No = 0). Higher scores indicate greater levels of unwanted pursuit behaviors.: 0 – 26
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
