Scale Overview
The Modified Eating Disorder Examination-Questionnaire – Bulimia Subscale (M-EDE-Q-B) was developed by Sylvia Herbozo (2007). It is designed to measure Intentions to use body change strategies. The scale is intended for use with College women.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 7 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Strongly Disagree, 2 = Somewhat Disagree, 3 = Neither Agree Nor Disagree, 4 = Somewhat Agree, 5 = Strongly Agree.
Scoring
Item scores are averaged to produce a mean score.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
