The Life/Career Values Inventory (LCVI) is a standardized psychological assessment instrument. It is designed to measure Career and Life Values. The scale is intended for use with Adults.

This instrument consists of 46 items organized into 12 factors/subscales: Career – Recognition, Career – Rewards, Career – Work-Product, Career – Organization, Career – Growth, Career – Security, Life – Community, Life – Family, Life – Friends/Social, Life – Financial, Life – Growth, Life – Recognition.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = No Importance, 2 = 2, 3 = 3, 4 = 4, 5 = 5, 6 = 6, 7 = 7, 8 = 8, 9 = 9, 10 = Very High Importance.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 1 to 10. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Importance: 1 – 3
- Moderate Importance: 4 – 7
- High Importance: 8 – 10
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
