Scale Overview
The Organizational Culture Profile – OCP was developed by Charles A. O’Reilly, Jennifer A. Chatman, & David F. Caldwell (1991). It is designed to measure Person-Organization Fit. The scale is intended for use with Adults / Employees.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 54 items organized into 7 factors/subscales: Innovation, Stability, People orientation, Outcome orientation, Easygoing, Detail orientation, Team orientation.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Least characteristic, 2 = Highly uncharacteristic, 3 = Moderately uncharacteristic, 4 = Slightly uncharacteristic, 5 = Neither characteristic nor uncharacteristic, 6 = Slightly characteristic, 7 = Moderately characteristic, 8 = Highly characteristic, 9 = Most characteristic.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 1 to 9. Interpretation guidelines:
- Average score per dimension indicating strength of preference: 1 – 9

Administration
