The Children’s Self-Efficacy for Peer Interactions – CSPI was developed by Valerie A. Wheeler, Gary W. Ladd (1982). It is designed to measure Children’s self-efficacy in peer interactions. The scale is intended for use with Children (Grades 3-8, ages 7-10).

This instrument consists of 22 items organized into 2 factors/subscales: Non-Conflict Situations, Conflict Situations.

Total scores range from 22 to 88. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Self-Efficacy: 22 – 43
- Moderate Self-Efficacy: 44 – 65
- High Self-Efficacy: 66 – 88
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
