Scale Overview
The Headache-Specific Locus of Control Scale for Adolescents – HSLC-A was developed by Martin, Holroyd, & Penzien (1990). It is designed to measure Headache-Specific Locus of Control. The scale is intended for use with Adolescents.

Total scores range from 11 to 55. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low Subscale Score: 11 – 25
- Moderate Subscale Score: 26 – 40
- High Subscale Score: 41 – 55
