Scale Overview
The Traffic Locus of Control Scale – T-LOC was developed by Türker Özkan, Timo Lajunen, Jyrki Kaistinen (2005). It is designed to measure Traffic Locus of Control. The scale is intended for use with Drivers.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 17 items organized into 4 factors/subscales: Self, Other Drivers, Fate, Vehicle and Environment.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree).
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Cronbach's alpha ranges from 0.67 to 0.81 for the subscales.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
