The Family Unpredictability Scale – FUS was developed by Lisa Thomson Ross & Elizabeth M. Hill (2004). It is designed to measure Family Unpredictability. The scale is intended for use with Parents / Adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 22 items organized into 4 factors/subscales: Nurturance, Meals, Finances, Discipline.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree).
The scale includes 10 reverse-scored items to reduce acquiescence bias.
