The Personal Feelings Inventory – PFI was developed by Joseph Zubin, Joseph L. Fleiss (1964). It is designed to measure Anxiety and Depression. The scale is intended for use with Adults.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a dichotomous True/False format.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 0 to 66. Interpretation guidelines:
- Minimal Symptoms: 0 – 15
- Mild Symptoms: 16 – 30
- Moderate Symptoms: 31 – 45
- Severe Symptoms: 46 – 66
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
