The Experience of Close Relationships Questionnaire Short Version – ECR-R-18 was developed by Tinakon Wongpakaran, Nahathai Wongpakaran (2012). It is designed to measure Adult Attachment Style. The scale is intended for use with Adults (clinical and non-clinical).
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 18 items organized into 2 factors/subscales: Anxiety, Avoidance.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a 7-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 7 = Strongly Agree).

Total scores range from 9 to 63. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low: 9 – 27
- Moderate: 28 – 45
- High: 46 – 63
