Scale Overview
The Recovery Oriented Service Evaluation – AACP ROSE was developed by American Association of Community Psychiatrists (AACP) (2003). It is designed to measure Recovery-oriented service delivery. The scale is intended for use with Service users, family members, clinicians, administrators, and advocates.

Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 0 = Strongly Disagree, 1 = Mostly Disagree, 2 = Somewhat, 3 = Mostly Agree, 4 = Strongly Agree.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 0 to 184. Interpretation guidelines:
- Traditional Standards: 0 – 95
- Needs significant improvement: 96 – 124
- Fair: 125 – 139
- Good: 140 – 159
- Excellent: 160 – 184
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
