Total scores range from 0 to 16. Interpretation guidelines:
- Low presence of octant traits: 0 – 4
- Moderate presence of octant traits: 5 – 8
- High presence of octant traits: 9 – 12
- Extreme presence of octant traits: 13 – 16
Psychometric Properties
Internal Consistency: The scale has demonstrated good to excellent internal consistency with reported Cronbach’s alpha values of Typically 0.70 – 0.85 across octants.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
