Scale Overview
The Beliefs – Multidimensional Measurement of Religiousness (Long Form) was developed by Ellen Idler, Musick, M. A., Ellison, C. G., et al. (2003). It is designed to measure Religious and spiritual beliefs. The scale is intended for use with Adults.
Scale Structure
This instrument consists of 7 items.
Response Format
Respondents rate each item using a custom response format.
Response anchors: 1 = Agree strongly, 2 = Agree somewhat, 3 = Can't decide, 4 = Disagree somewhat, 5 = Disagree strongly.
Scoring
Items are summed to produce a total score.
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
