Scale Overview
The Urogenital Distress Inventory – Short Form (UDI-6) was developed by Shumaker SA, Wyman JF, Uebersax JS, McClish D, Fantl JA (1994). It is designed to measure Urogenital distress. The scale is intended for use with Adults.

Response Format

Response anchors: 0 = Not at all, 1 = Slightly, 2 = Moderately, 3 = Greatly.
Scoring
Items are scored by subscale, with each subscale sum representing a distinct dimension.
Total scores range from 0 to 100. Interpretation guidelines:
- Mild Distress: 0 – 33
- Moderate Distress: 34 – 66
- Severe Distress: 67 – 100
Administration
The scale is self-administered and typically takes approximately 3 minutes to complete. It can be administered individually or in group settings. No special training is required for administration.
